MUNICIPAL BUDGET OFFICE

MANDATE:

Review and consolidate budget proposals of different departments and offices of the LGU

Assist the LCE in the preparation of the annual and supplemental budgets

Study and evaluate budgetary implications of proposed legislation and submit comments and recommendations thereon

Act as member of the Local Finance Committee

VISION:

Champion of results-oriented budget and management policies and practices that enable the government to steer the LGU towards meaningful development that empowers the poor and the marginalized.

MISSION:

The Municipal Budget Office shall lead the public expenditure management to ensure the equitable, prudent, transparent and accountable allocation and use of public funds for the efficient delivery of basic services and improve the quality of life of every Realeño.

ORGANIZATIONAL OUTCOME:

Budgetary allotment release orders effected and barangay budget reviewed.
