OFFICE OF THE MUNICIPAL SOCIAL WELFARE & DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

MANDATE:

Formulate and implement social welfare measures, plans and strategies.

Be in the frontline of service delivery, particularly those which have to do with immediate relief during and assistance in the aftermath of man-made and natural disasters and calamities.

VISION:

The Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office of Real, Quezon envisions all Realeños free from hunger and poverty, have equal access to opportunities, enabled by a fair, just and peaceful society to become empowered, self-reliant and gender responsive citizens.

MISSION:

To lead in the formulation, implementation, and coordination of social welfare and development policies and programs for and with the poor, vulnerable and disadvantaged Realeños through DSWD, NGOs, Pos, other GOs, stakeholders and other members of civil society.
